The 2001 SP Authentic Golf Swatch set. It can’t be completed! What’s the Deal?
Perhaps you have given up? Maybe it is too expensive? More than likely you cannot find all of the cards? There is a reason that some of you that have been trying to complete the 2001 SP Authentic Golf Swatch set cannot. Have you ever seen these cards?

Probably the chances are good that you have not seen these. The reason is because there is a good chance that they were never made. I have been probing Upper Deck for some time as to why they never released these cards. All but the David Duval are on the official checklists. David Duval was removed some time ago. Now, however, since all of the golf set and line production managers are gone or working elsewhere, they do not have the answers, or even care.
Another interesting insight is with the PSA registry ratings. The set registry builders “weigh” cards based on the degree of difficulty in pulling them from a pack. For example, PSA rates the Craig Stadler Tour Swatch as a 10 in degree of difficulty because it is so short printed and pulling it from a pack is very tough. Next is Michael Clark II which is rated a 7. I have seen both and have actually owned several of each.
Well get this, the Sergio has the lowest rating of 1. Basically, PSA and set registry builders are saying that the Sergio Swatch is readily available in packs! Nobody has one, not even the owner of the highest rated 2001 SP Tour Swatch set in the world. NONE have EVER been graded by ANY card company! Crazy huh! If you have these cards please let me know because I am looking for them to complete my set.
