Every month Shlink Lincoln Sports Golf Card Review will be breaking down the Top 25 SP Authentic Golf Rookie card sales. As a dedicated collector of SPA Golf Rookies I keep a close eye on the eBay market. Rankings are not based on price alone as there must be at least two sales per month for a card to qualify. Notable single card sales are listed at the end of the rankings.
Note for June rankings:
June was a record month with the help of some lot sales. There were complete sets of 2001 (minus /900 autos, $61.00, 2002 ($227.50), 2003 ($217.50) and 2004 ($203.00) SP Authentic Golf RCs put up for auction in June, pushing total sales over the 350 mark and surpassing the previous sales record of 336 set in February.
It’s also interesting to note that there were no sales of 2002 SP Authentic Phil Mickelson RCs (except for the lot mentioned above) and for the first time this year Phil is not in the Top 25.
Avg. Price: Average price of sales for the listed month including single and lot sales.
High Price: Highest price sale for the listed month with eBay sale link (when available).
Last Month: Last month’s rank followed by position change.
$ Change: Percentage change in the “Avg. Price” from the previous month.

Tiger Woods Tiger Gold gets 2 sales in the same month for the first time since March and retains the #1 spot. This marks the third time in six months that /100 has enjoyed the top spot and has never been worse than #1. If you don't have this card you want it. If you have this card it is your best card. |

Tiger Woods Do you want the good news or bad news? Good news, Tiger won the U.S. Open. Bad news, Phil didn't.........er Tiger is out for the rest of the season. For the second straight month Tiger's /900 RC has decreased in price and I expect the Avg. Price to stay stagnant through the summer. It was an amazing run as this card went from $1200 to $8000 (and back down to $5000) in the span of a few months. |

Paula Creamer Paula was just one shot back through 54 holes at the U.S. Open last weekend, only to suffer a terrible final round of 78 to fall out of contention. Still it's good experience for the next major. Her RC continues to sell strong with a 2% increase from May on 3 sales in June. |

Sergio Garcia Sergio's still going strong, enjoying a 5% increase a month out from his Players win. All eyes will be on Sergio this month at Royal Birkdale as he looks to rebound from his disappointing runner up in last year's Open. Watch this card sneak into the Top 5 should he get his first major victory. |

Natalie Gulbis Seems every month I'm saying the same thing about Natalie's rookie, steady sales, big potential, needs a major win. Natalie gets her first increase (37%) in months and I can say confidently this card is poised to be a consistent Top 10 RC. Graded Natalie RCs are also starting to become more prevelant on the Bay which will help. |

Suzann Pettersen Suzann has had a very productive year on Tour but is still looking for her first win in 2008. This card was on fire a few months ago and has since come back to Earth a bit. Even so Suzann's RC has not dropped out of the rankings since her 1st appearance in March. |

Geoff Ogilvy Geoff is 7th on the FedEx Cup Points list and 6th on the Money List. Don't be suprised if he takes home the FedEx Cup in September. As I noted in last month's rankings, this is one of a few cards that could become the next big Golf RC. |
